Trying to find one word to sum up her star-studded 44-year career, Liza Minnelli paused for a moment."Just one word?" she asked, while speaking by phone from her home in New York.But, as if her life flashed across her mind in an instant, a word suddenly came to her: "Interesting," she said.It could also be described as ambitious, captivating and legendary. She was born into a family of great entertainers. Her mother was a talented actress and singer, well known for her role in the "The Wizard of Oz," and her father, Vincente Minnelli, was a film director.She said her parents passed down their great sense of life to her.
